The Institute for Global Solutions (IGS) recently returned from their final sustainability trip to Portland, Oregon and Orcas Island. They worked hands-on with many of the sustainable ways that Portland and Orcas Island provide within their communities. Also, on Orcas Island, students had the opportunity to camp at Bullock's homestead, working and learning about permaculture, along side the Bullock brothers and their interns. It was an amazing trip, that made quite the impact on both students and staff who attended.
