GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Forms
All students: You were handed a package of forms on the first day of school.  Please return your completed forms to the office by the end of this week.

Cafeteria & Spartan Store
The Leadership class will be running pizza sales out of the cafeteria all this week at lunch time. The Spartan Store will be opening later this week for Spartan Wear and snacks.

Pursuit of Excellence
All Pursuit of Excellence students will have a meeting on WEDNESDAY October 1st from 3:00 to 4:00 in the Theatre.  This is the first official event of the year and attendance is mandatory.  Please check with Mrs. Marshall in the Pursuit of Excellence office ahead of time if you have a conflicting event.

Band & Choir
Are you in Band or Choir??  Not sure when it happens?  Come to the band room and ask Mrs. English!

Best  Buddies
Best Buddies:  There will be a meeting TODAY in the 'old room' for last year's members only.  We will have our first official meeting next week.

Strength and Conditioning
There is a mandatory meeting on FRIDAY at lunch in the main gym for all Strength and Conditioning students. Be on time and it should only take 10-15 minutes.  See Mr Reisig if there is a conflict

Writing winners
Claremont! If you have been notified that you have won a poetry or writing contest, please let Ms. Stenson know! Drop by room 321, send an email or notify last year's teacher! We are proud of your efforts and we want to take your picture and put it on the website.

Athletic tryouts this week
Athletic tryouts are this week for Fall sports.  Students must attend or see the coach or Mr Reisig if you are unable to attend.
Jr girls volleyball - TODAY immediately after school (with Ms. Tuck)
Sr girls volleyball - TODAY at 5:30 (with Mr. Paananen)
Jr boys volleyball - TODAY immediately after school (with Mr. Ryan)
Sr boys volleyball – TODAY at 5:30 (with Youakim)
Jr boys soccer – TODAY immediately after school (with Mr. Mitchell)
Sr boys soccer - TODAY immediately after school (on the field with Mr. Earnshaw)
Girls Field Hockey - FRIDAY at lunch in the main gym
Cross Country – TODAY at lunch in room 134 (with Mr. Nelson)
Rowing – has already started.  See Mr. De Leeuw as soon as possible.

If you would like to be on Claremont's Cross Country team, go to a meeting in Mr. Nelson's room (137) at the beginning of lunch TODAY.
