GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Tour de Rock
TODAY, we will be welcoming the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer's 'Tour de Rock' to Claremont. We look forward to contributing to this worthy cause today through student and staff donations and pledges towards head shavings. Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock raises money for pediatric cancer research and programs for children with a history of cancer.
BC Transit Bus Passes
The BC Transit Youth Passes have arrived. Please come to the office to pick yours up. If you are an International student, please see Brenda for your bus pass.
Clubs Showcase
The Learning Commons will be hosting a Clubs Showcase on MONDAY Oct. 6th at lunch time.
Bring a friend and come check out what clubs Claremont has to offer. See ya there!

Scholarship Meeting
There is an important Scholarship Meeting this FRIDAY at lunch in Room 325 for ALL Grade 11 and 12 students interested in applying for a Scholarship at ANY point during the year. Hope to see you there!
New York City trip
Students interested in a Spring Break trip to New York City: please come to a meeting on FRIDAY at lunch in the theatre. See Mr. Plant or Ms. Giordano if you cannot attend.
School Photos
School photos will be taken on FRIDAY October 3rd. All students in all grades need to have a photo taken for student records, whether or not you plan to purchase a photo package. Extra photo order forms are available in the office.

ATHLETICS
Intramural Volleyball
The 4 vs 4 co-ed Volleyball intramural begins next week. Get your co-ed team of 5 together and sign up on the sheet outside the main gym doors across from the student lounge. There are 2 divisions to choose from. Games will run Tues, Wed, Thurs for the next 3 weeks.
There is a Captains meeting on MONDAY at lunch.
CAREER CENTRE
Work Experience & Apprenticeship Deadlines
The deadline to register for work experience, apprenticeship and Camosun courses has been extended to October 17th. If you would like to receive credit for these this year, please see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre to sign up!

Grad Portraits
Grads: It is time to book your grad portraits!! Lifetouch will be at Claremont starting October 14th. You need to book your appointment ON-LINE now by going to Lifetouch's website www.lifetouch.ca/victoria. Don't put this off, or they will run out of appointment times. Information packages are available in the office.
