- discussed h.w. questions for "Half a Day"
- discussed questions #7a-d
- were given back their Issue paragraphs
- took notes on "writing hints" based on observations of errors in Issue paragraphs
- brainstormed/discussed elements of a good story (in preparation for the story writing to be done on Monday)
- reviewed some story terms, with candy as a prize
