GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Peer Tutoring
Please drop into Mr. Belvedere's room 134 on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS at lunch for peer tutoring help for your math and science classes. There is no meeting this week for tutors, please see Ms. Giese to check out the latest requests.

Math Club meeting
There is a math club meeting TODAY to write Math League contest number 2. Please go to room 133 quickly to begin the contest on time.

Food Services
This week, we will have the following food services at lunch time:
Monday: Pizza
Tuesday: Stelly's Culinary Arts (Sandwiches etc)
Wednesday: Stelly's Culinary Arts (Sandwiches etc)
Thursday: the PIG Food Truck will be here again
Friday: Pizza

ATHLETICS
Swim Team results
The swim team captured one Provincial Title, two silver medals and one bronze medal this past weekend at the Provincial Aquatics Championships in Richmond. Congratulations Swimmers on placing 7th out of 91 teams in the province overall!

Senior Girls Volleyball results
The senior girls volleyball team placed third at the Island Championships over the weekend. The team finished with four wins and one loss with their only loss being to the eventual Island Champions. Riley Jones, Lindsay Mann and Alex Hale were named to the All-star team.

CAREER CENTRE
University of Alberta
A representative from the University of Alberta will be in the Learning Commons TOMORROW (Tuesday Nov 18th) at lunch.  Be sure to check out their presentation for more information on this great post secondary opportunity. U of A is also hosting an Application Workshop in Vancouver on Nov 22nd, so be sure to inquire about this with the rep.

Class Afloat
Are you looking for an adventure? How does earning high school or 1st year post secondary credits while sailing on a tall ship around the world sound? Take it from Mrs. Pryer, this is an opportunity of a lifetime! A representative from Class Afloat will be in the student lounge TODAY at lunch to answer your questions, so be sure to stop by.
