The Institute for Global Solutions (IGS) 11 cohort recently returned from the second annual “Rails to Relevance” field trip.  37 students, representing 8 countries, boarded a train in Vancouver and travelled to Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal.  Highlights included the CN Tower, Parliament and a fantastic tour of Old Quebec.  Along the way the students conducted a series of interviews which they will now use to create documentaries on Canadian identity.  Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming IGS Filmfest where we showcase the final products of our epic adventure!
