The Institute for Global Solutions (IGS) 11 cohort recently returned from the second annual “Rails to Relevance” field trip. 37 students, representing 8 countries, boarded a train in Vancouver and travelled to Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal. Highlights included the CN Tower, Parliament and a fantastic tour of Old Quebec. Along the way the students conducted a series of interviews which they will now use to create documentaries on Canadian identity.
