GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Book Drive
Claremont will be having a school book drive. Donate any of your unwanted books to your 4th block class all NEXT WEEK, starting Monday January 19th to Friday January 23rd.  All donations go to a great cause. Let's give everyone a chance to read!

Starbucks
Starbucks coffee is coming to Claremont next week on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY.  Lattes, Mochas, coffee, hot chocolate, and freshly baked cookies. Drinks come complete with toppings. Entry for a prize comes with each purchase. Proceeds go to a charitable sports scholarship for a student in Saanich.

Night of Dance
The Night of Dance shows are next week on TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY. Tickets are only $5 for Claremont Students, for sale on MONDAY at lunch outside the theatre.

Peer Tutoring
If you need help with Math or Science courses please use Peer Tutoring Drop in time at lunch in room 134 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For an individual Peer Tutor, please fill out a request form with Ms. Giese in the counselling office.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
House Day
Next THURSDAY January 22nd is House Day!  Wear your House Colours to school and come to the lounge at lunch for a ROCK PAPER SCISSORS tournament.

ATHLETICS
Girls Rugby
There will be a Girls Rugby open session on TUESDAY  January 20th @ 3:45.  Meet on the main field. Everyone welcome; no experience necessary.  Bring cleats (runners work), gym cloths and water!  It will be fun!

Trip to Whistler
International students:  the trip packages for Whistler are available from Brenda.  The deadline is February 2nd.
