GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Immigration Club
The Immigration Club has a meeting TODAY (Wednesday) at lunch in room 303.  New people are always welcome!

Peer Tutors
There will be an important Peer Tutoring meeting TODAY (Wednesday) at the start of lunch in computer lab 225. New tutors are welcome to join for semester 2!  Please see Ms. Giese if you can't attend.

Report Cards
Report cards will be handed out on THURSDAY in Home Room right before lunch.  Please be sure to pick them up.

Blood Drive
Spartans: it is time to roll up your sleeves and save lives. The sign-up for the March 3rd blood drive is now on. See Ms Chapman in room 136 or look for the sign-up table in the student lounge all THIS WEEK at lunch. Claremont is currently leading BC in the Young Blood for Life donation challenge. Donors must be 17 years or older. Canadian Blood Services will also be doing a One Match drive on March 3rd, looking for students to register for the bone marrow donation list. See Ms Chapman for more details.

Year-Long Drama Performance
If you like to laugh, please consider coming to see "The Night of the Living Beauty Pageant”. This comedic play runs from WEDNESDAY to SATURDAY at 7:30pm this week and next week and features no zombies.  Tickets are $7.50 and are available at the door.  This is a production of the Year-Long Drama class. Again, there are no zombies in "The Night of the Living Beauty Pageant” ..... or are there?

Handbags for Hope
The Key Club is collecting donation of gently used handbags, scarves or jewelry to raise funds for Handbags for Hope, to support research for neuroblastoma, which is the most common cancer in children under the age of 1.   There will be a donations table in the main hallway at lunch every day THIS WEEK!  All the proceeds will be donated for Neuroblastoma Peadiatric Cancer Research.

ATHLETICS
Tennis
For all players interested in trying out for the Claremont Tennis Team: there is a practice TODAY (Wednesday) at 3pm after school at the lower tennis courts. See Mr Gardner in 327 for details or just show up.

CAREER CENTRE
Visit from Simon Fraser University
There will be a representative from the Simon Fraser University TODAY at lunch in the Learning Commons.  Be sure to check it out if you'd like more info on SFU!

Youth Employment Program Job Fair
What are you up to on FRIDAY, since it's a non-instructional day? Why not check out the Job Fair happening at the SHOAL Centre in Sidney from 10:00am - 2:00pm. There will be a variety of great employers for youth available to meet with, such as Peninsula Co-Op, McDonald's, BC Ferries, Bank of Montreal and many more! Bring your resumes and be prepared for on- the-spot interviews!! Check out Beacon Community Services website for more details.

Aviation Career Fair
The BC Aviation Museum invites you to attend their Aviation Career Day on Saturday, February 21st from 10am to 3pm. Corportate and Post Secondary institutions represented include: BCIT Aerospace Program, Dept of National Defense, Viking Air, Victoria Airport Authority and Firefighters, UVic, Camosun College and more! This is an event you don't want to miss! Check out BC Aviation Museum for more information.

GRADUATION 2015
Tight 'n Bright Dance
There will be a Grade 12 "Tight 'n Bright” dance on TUESDAY night, February 24th from 7-10pm.
Tickets are $7 and will be sold at lunch every day until Monday at lunch and will NOT be available at the door, so don't delay.  This is a grade 12 only event. Sorry, no guests.

Grad Portraits
Grads:  There are still some grad portrait proofs in the office waiting to be picked up. If you had retakes taken in January and you haven't received your proofs yet, please come to the office to pick them up.
