GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
IGS Fundraiser - Popcorn
The Global Studies 9 class will be selling Kernels Popcorn every TUESDAY at lunch in the Student Lounge.  Pick your favourite flavour; popcorn is $2 per bag.  The class is aiming to raise $25,000 to build an extension of a library in Gwara Gwara, Uganda.  Previously, over the course of 10-12 years, Claremont raised money to build the library and now, because of its great success and demand, an extension is needed to further serve the community.  Every bag of popcorn will be one step closer to reaching our goal.

IGS Fundraiser - Qoolerade Sports Juice.
Do you ever feel really thirsty on a hot summer day? Do you have problems finding a refreshing delicious sports juice?  Well, come outside of the student lounge TODAY at lunch and buy the all-new Global Studies 9-born Qoolerade.  The Global Studies 9 class will be selling Qoolerade for $1.50 per cup.  All proceeds go towards the Claremont library in Gwara Gwara, Uganda.  Come by and get your daily dose of Qool!!!

Grease is the Word
Opening night of the spring musical "Grease”  is this WEDNESDAY. Grease plays nightly at 7pm May 13-16 and May 19-23.  There's also a matinee on Saturday May 23rd at 2pm.  Tickets can be bought in advance from Ms. Marshall in the accounts office.  Student tickets are $12.50.  Come see your friends sing, dance and rock out to the tunes of GREASE.  Be there or be square!

Intramural Softball
Intramural Softball begins TODAY at lunch. All players need to be ready to start by 12:00. All games will be played on the rugby field behind the gym. Players are asked to dress appropriately and bring a glove if they have one.  As always, spectators are welcome!
