This year, students from Mr. Belvedere's classes raised a total of $2030 for the Vancouver Island Cancer Research Centre at Royal Jubilee Hospital. The winning class, raising the most money, were from his block 3 Math 9 class with a total of $680, including $540 on the last day candy auction. The class that raises the most money gets to design and cut Mr. Belvedere's hair and this year they elected to dye it 'blonde' as well. This is his 4th haircut for this annual initiative and his efforts, along with his students, have raised $5480 over those 4 years! Way to go Spartans!!
