A long board and skate board have been turned into the office. Please come to claim them if you are missing yours.


Summer Session Courses


Reminder to students that Claremont is offering grade 11-level courses in our Summer Session for Academic Advancement. If you are planning to take one of these courses, all application forms need to be submitted to the office by the end of TODAY. This is a great chance to get ahead in your courses. Information and application forms are available on our website.


TEX Program - Garden Sheds


If you get a chance, go behind the metal shop out back of the school to see the garden sheds that the TEX students have built.


Woodwork Projects on Display


For this week only, the display cabinet outside the wood/metal shop is hosting a selection of woodwork done by students this semester. Please come by and see some of the wonderful work done by your fellow students.



STUDENT GOVERNMENT


Tropical Tuesday


Our last theme day of the year is TROPICAL TUESDAY on June 16. Wear your best tropical outfit and come to the student lounge at lunch for some music and freezies!


ATHLETICS


Athletics Awards


The year-end school Athletics Awards are next week on TUESDAY June 16th. The event will take place in the theatre after school until about 5:30pm. Tickets need to be purchased in advance for $10 from the school store or in the lounge at lunch time. The ticket purchase includes a t-shirt and pizza. All athletes are encouraged to attend. Parents are welcome to attend at no cost (assuming that no pizza is wanted).



CAREER CENTRE


Job Opportunities


There is a job opportunity for a grade 11 or 12 student interested in working part time at a spa over the Summer as a receptionist.  Shifts are mostly Saturdays.

There is also a job opportunity for anyone interested in picking blueberries for the month of July.
