GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Final Math Club Meeting
All Math Club members are asked to attend the wrap-up meeting this MONDAY at lunch.  This final meeting of the year will include prizes, awards, and treats.

Found Items
A long board and skate board have been turned into the office.  Please come to claim them if you are missing yours.

TEX Program - Garden Sheds
If you get a chance, go behind the metal shop out back of the school to see the garden sheds that the TEX students have built. They're pretty awesome!

Woodwork Projects on Display
For this week only, the display cabinet outside the wood/metal shop is hosting a selection of woodwork done by students this semester.  Please come by and see some of the wonderful work done by your fellow students.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Tropical Tuesday
Our last theme day of the year is TROPICAL TUESDAY on June 16. Wear your best tropical outfit and come to the student lounge at lunch for some music and freezies!

ATHLETICS
Athletics Awards
The year-end school Athletics Awards are next week on TUESDAY June 16th.  The event will take place in the theatre after school until about 5:30pm. Tickets need to be purchased in advance for $10 from the school store or in the lounge at lunch time. The ticket purchase includes a t-shirt and pizza. All athletes are encouraged to attend. Parents are welcome to attend at no cost (assuming that no pizza is wanted).

CAREER CENTRE
Summer Volunteer Opportunity With Saanich Police
The Saanich Police are accepting applications to fill 4 volunteer positions this Summer.  This is an incredible opportunity to gain leadership skills and build your resume.  See Mr. Arsenault or Mrs. Pryer right away for more information.

Encounters With Canada - Sports & Fitness Experience
Encounters With Canada is offering $100 off the registration fee for their Sports & Fitness Experience in September.  This is an incredible, one-week opportunity that takes place in Ottawa, where you will get to meet and get tips from Olympic and world athletes, nutritionists and other sports experts.  See Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre for more information.
