Today in class, students:
- read for USSR
- reviewed fire drill procedures
- watched a random video (a Friday tradition in my class)
- did some guided editing on their Issues Paragraph before handing in the edited draft and the planning outline
- were given back their Identities alternate endings
- did a 5 minute quick write (for completion marks) on an early school memory; some students then shared with class
- listened to and then briefly discussed the story "Half a Day" (found in the story text)
- worked on question #5 following the story in the text (we will do question #7 on Monday)
- were given the "heads up" that they will be starting on writing a story from a prompt on Monday

Finish question #5, if you did not have time to finish it in class.
