Today in class, students:
- read for USSR
- were given the essay topics for this novel, and encouraged to put post-it notes in the book, when they come across a relevant section (easier to find quotes this way!)
- watched and discussed an excerpt from the ABC documentary "Hidden America: Children of the Plains" and a video made by a group of Lakota teens in response
- completed and discussed questions for last night's reading
