Way to go Spartans!  The winning House was Apollo.  Mr. Quested's English 9 class donated the most gift cards;  Mr. Bussoli's class came in 2nd place, Mr. Hayes' class came in 3rd place, and an honorable mention goes to Ms Tong's Block 3 class. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making Christmas a little merrier for teens in need.

The Crafty Knitters will be meeting on THURSDAY at lunch in Ms. Tong's room (room 323).  Bring your needles and yarn!   Also, if you are an experienced knitter and would like to help Claremont knit squares for a blanket, please come by and pick up some yarn.  Our goal is to knit 48 squares so that they can be pieced together and then donated to the Blankets for Canada Society.

High School Christmas Carol
The Year-Long Drama production of “High School Christmas Carol”  continues this week from Dec 9-12 at 7:30pm at the Claremont Ridge Playhouse.  This play updates the classic Charles Dickens tale and sets in a high school where a not-so-nice Meredith (think Scrooge in high school) is acting very poorly.  However, given a chance to see what her life is really like (thanks to some visits from very unique 'ghosts') Meredith is able to see what her actions are really doing.
This play is appropriate for all ages.  Tickets are $10 at the door, but if you bring a non-perishable donation to the food bank, $1 per item will be deducted from your ticket to a maximum discount of $5.  All food will be donated to the Mustard Seed Food Bank.  Please come support the Fine Arts at Claremont!
