GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Toque Day

The temperature will be turned down 2 degrees TOMORROW in the school to save energy and money.
It is supposed to be a sunny day, so you will likely not even notice. Feel free to wear your favourite toque. Sorry: no hats, just toques.  Way to conserve energy Claremont!

Scholarships
A huge congratulations to Katrina Bosecker, who was chosen amongst our many qualified applicants for this year's $5000 Provincial Excellence Scholarship based on leadership!!  Please note that District Scholarship Applications will be available on FRIDAY at lunch in the Theatre.  All grade 12s interested in applying for a District Scholarship of any kind should attend this meeting.

ATHLETICS
Track & Field – Meeting TODAY
There is a mandatory track and field meeting TODAY at the start of lunch in room 137 for all students going to the track meet at UVIC today after school. Make sure you also sign up with Ms. Giese on her counselling office door before you leave.

Tennis
Tryouts for the Claremont Tennis Team are this THURSDAY and FRIDAY after school at the lower courts. Boys and girls are needed. League starts next week, so attendance is mandatory if you want to play.  Just show up or see Mr Gardner in room 327 for details.
