ScreamFest
This year Claremont is hosting the annual Halloween event, which has run for the last 2 years at ROMS. ScreamFest is an amazing event featuring a scary haunted walk, the famous Vortex Tunnel, lots of games and activities, music, food and prizes! It will run over two nights: Thursday, Oct. 26th and Friday, Oct. 27th. (6:30-10:00pm both nights). Tickets are $10 and will be on sale all this week in the accounting office.

Sr Boys Volleyball
Congratulations to the Claremont Spartans Sr. Boys Volleyball team who went undefeated in league matches last night. The Spartans defeated Mt. Doug 25-11, 25-12, Spectrum 25-04, 25-06 and Lambrick 25-0, 25-0. Special thanks to our minor officials Victoria Vogel, Maddie Gregoire, Brooklyn Ryan, Mya Sheridan, Mary Nguyen, Lauren Bonner, Abby Phillips and Alexa Villegas. The Sr. Boys Team are competing in Nanaimo this Friday and Saturday at Dover Bay.

Grad Transition
A reminder to Grade 12s that Grad Transition completion is a grad requirement, and it is not too early to get it done! Pick up your GT forms from the Career Centre and complete your GT before formal exit interviews have to be organized for you.

Peninsula Youth Health Clinic – New Hours
Important: Hours have changed - The Peninsula Youth Health Clinic is now open every Thursday from 5-7pm. Walk in's are welcome, but if you are interested in booking an appointment or would like more info, call the clinic at 250-656-4114. Location: at the Ocean Pier Medical Clinic, (#207-2537 Beacon Avenue in Sidney) This clinic offers completely free and confidential service in the areas of physical, sexual, and mental health for youth. This Youth Clinic offers a judgement-free zone for all youth and is an LGBTQ safe space.
