GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lunch at the Cafeteria
Pizza will be for sale at the cafeteria TODAY ($2.50 per slice) and for the rest of the week. When the cafeteria class is up and running, lunchtime cafeteria will be available with a range of sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, drinks, and sweets.
Cafeteria Punch Card
Cafeteria punch cards are available to purchase from the Accounting office for $5 or $10. This is a great option if you find yourself out of cash or if the ATM is out of order at lunch time.
Musical Theatre
It's not too late to join Musical Theatre. Come TODAY after school in the theatre for our first official class or talk to Ms Giordano for more info. This year’s show is “The Little Mermaid.”
CLUBS
Some of Claremont’s clubs are starting up this week, and there are more to come. There is something for everyone!!
Welcomers Club
The Welcomers Club meets TODAY and every Tuesday at lunch in room 215. If you are new to the school or if you are looking for a fun way to meet and connect with other students, please join us! Everyone welcome!
Student Council
If you're interested in school events and leadership, then please come check out Student Council. The first meeting is TODAY at lunch in the theatre.
Robotics Club
The VEX Robotic Club is having its first meeting this WEDNESDAY at lunch in Room 220. New members of any grade are welcome. No robotics experience necessary.
Key Club
Earn service hours, meet new people and get free snacks with Key Club. First meeting this THURSDAY at lunch in room 135. Come by to learn more.

Work Experience & Camosun Apprenticeship Programs
A heads-ups for all students taking Work Experience or a Camosun Apprenticeship Program. Please see Mr. Arsenault or Ms. Loukes this week in the Career Centre to update your status (we have moved the Career Centre to the counselling hallway). Mr. Arsenault is available each morning, and Ms. Loukes is available each afternoon this week.

Dry Grad 2020 Meeting – Tonight
For all parents, caregivers, friends & family of the Class of 2020!! Would you like to be involved in an amazing event for your graduate? The first Dry Grad 2020 meeting of the year is TONIGHT @ 7pm in the Learning Commons. Last year's Dry Grad Committee will be there to discuss what's involved and how you can participate! COMMUNITY NEWS
Peninsula Youth Clinic
For all youth aged 12-24: the Peninsula Youth Clinic is located at Peninsula Medical, 2a-2379 Bevan Avenue, Sidney (250-656-4143) and is open EVERY THURSDAY from 5:30 – 7:30pm, providing services for mental, physical, and sexual health. A doctor and mental health clinician is on hand.
Walk-ins are welcome! Services are completely free and confidential in their judgement free zone.
