Class Rotation Changes After the Winter Break (Jan.4)
Starting MONDAY Jan.4th, we move to the ‘second five weeks’ of Quarter 2, with Block 1 occurring every other day on an A/B schedule and Block 2 at full attendance 5 days per week. By the end of MONDAY Dec.14, parents will receive an email from the current block 1 teachers, indicating which group students are a part of for Block 1. Some classes with smaller numbers and a larger space to work (where physical distancing is possible) have been approved to continue with all students present and masked.
Mid-Day Busing Starting MONDAY Jan.4
As we change to the new class rotation after the Winter Break, there are new schedules for students riding the school bus mid-day to arrive for afternoon classes. The mid-day schedules are posted outside of the office. Students: PLEASE check the schedule so you are prepared for bussing when we return in January. Parents and students can also check the schedule posted under the ‘Quick Links’ on the Claremont website “Mid-Day Bus Schedule – January 4th Flip.”

YCI: Winter Clothing/Backpack Drive – Ends Tuesday Dec.15
Due to the overwhelming generosity of donations, YCI’s donation drive ‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ will end on TUESDAY Dec. 15; this will allow students time to organize the huge volume of donated backpacks, warm clothing, hygiene products, and non-perishable snacks before our winter break. Over the holidays, these necessary items will be distributed to people in need, struggling with homelessness. Donation bins will remain at the front office until Tuesday Dec.15.
