As part of the consultation process, the SD63Board is asking the community to complete an online survey which closes at the end of day on April 29, 2024. A background document (available here) has been prepared to inform completion of the survey by those unable to attend the Community Budget Meeting.
COPACS is pleased to host a virtual information session on the topic of SOGI 123 for parent/guardians, students, and staff of the Saanich School District.
When: Wednesday May 8, 2024, 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
Leading this presentation will be Dutch, Regional Manager of SOGI 123 and Micha Oak from LGBTQ Corporate Training. The focus will be on understanding the role of SOGI 123 as a resource for education and how to be a good ally in our schools and community. In addition, topics such as 2SLGBTQ+ 101, what to say, what not to say, learning about where anti-SOGI pushback is coming from, and how to support our youth.
