Salmon Release

The Claremont Coho Salmon Fry arrived as a group of 200 eggs on January 29th and hatched to alevin stage on February 16th.  They were just released as salmon fry to Colquitz Creek by Mrs. Cote and students from Lochside Elementary School.  The Biology 11 morning class is the host family of this project and will be learning about healthy salmon streams later in May.  Well done Claremont Science Department and thank you Lochside students!
