On May 20, the Claremont AP Physics Class went to the Commonwealth Pool to compete in the annual AP Physics Cardboard Boat Competition.  Students had to design and build a boat that was fast and that could also carry the most students possible.  The winning boat, the SS GT, built by Callum Porter, Thomas Ottewell, and Adam Inch, was not only the fastest boat, but was also capable of carrying 22 students without sinking.  Not too bad considering the boats were only made out of cardboard and tape!
