GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Math Club meeting
Math Club is happening TODAY at lunch in Room 133. There will be some important information about the upcoming Waterloo contests, so all members need to attend.
Math Competition Results
The team of Ankit JAYANT, Simon LINDER, Tony LEE and Reef GLADWIN competed at the Math Challengers Competition on Friday. The team finished in fourth place. Ankit JAYANT finished in second place in the individual competition and qualified for provincials. Well done team!!!
Report Cards
Report cards were handed out last week in home room. They are now in the office if you still need to pick yours up.
Tech Ed project pick up
For all students who were in woodworking, metal shop, and drafting classes in semester 1. please come pick up your projects. Any projects that are not picked up will disposed of on THURSDAY Feb 20th.
TC 10K
If you can walk or run 10km, then you are eligible to participate in the 25th annual TC 10K which takes place on Sunday April 27th. Please consider being a member of the Claremont Spartans TC 10K team...no experience necessary. This is open to all staff, students, and their families. See Mr. Nelson in room 137 for more details.
Year Long Drama
The next Year-Long Drama play starts this week! Twisted Tales of Terror plays this week from Feb 19-22 and next week from Feb 26-Mar 1. Tickets are $7.50 and are available at the door. This fun comedy is appropriate for all ages and isn't really that scary. It's actually funny! Please come check it out at the Ridge Playhouse.

Spartan Athletes of the Month
Congratulations to Jaamel SLACK, Marissa DHEENSAW, Zach MANNS and Hannah BASHFORD on being named "Spartan Athletes of the Month" for January. Read more about their accomplishments in the display case outside the main gym doors.
CAREER CENTRE
UVic is Coming to Claremont!
Are you in Grade 12 and planning on attending UVic in the Fall? If so, there will be a representative here at Claremont on Friday, February 28th at the Learning Commons at 8:30am for a general presentation. You can also sign up in the Career Centre for individual appointments to answer any questions you may have. First come, first served!
