GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Battery charging stations
Battery running low? The Learning Commons now has 2 charging stations where you can charge your phone or eReader.  Come get powered up in the Learning Commons!

cc350
The big cc350 event is next FRIDAY, May 9th. Students interested in submitting teams for the cc350 bike relay should see Mr. Neufeld or Mr. Mitchell in room 264. Teams must have registered by Monday, May 5th.

Change in Bell Schedule
This is a reminder for all students. Starting TODAY,  lunch will be shortened by 15 minutes and school will end 15 minutes earlier on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only.  A copy of the new bell schedule is posted outside of the office and on the Claremont website.  And remember, all school busses will now be arriving 15 minutes earlier every day.

Food Drive
The Block 1 Food Drive competition continues all week!  Non-perishable items only for the Mustard Seed, which helps hundreds of families in Victoria.  Let's go Spartans!!

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Spartan Day
Spartan Day is this FRIDAY to celebrate the re-launch of the HOUSE SYSTEM. Hopefully you heard about the Houses in your homeroom last week. This Friday, wear your House Colours and be ready to show some school spirit in our school-wide spirit video. Zeus is white, Hercules is red, Apollo is black, and Poseidon is blue.

GRADUATION 2014
Reminder to Grads to Submit Your PSI Selections
Grads, are you planning on attending post secondary in the Fall?  If so, you must complete the PSI Selections form by May 5, 2014 to have interim transcript information forwarded in May to the BC Electronic PSIs list and to the OUAC institutions. You only need to submit once, so if you have already done so, there is no need to repeat the process.  Please see Mrs. Pryer in the Career Centre if you require assistance.

INTERNATIONAL
Tofino Trip
There will be an important meeting this FRIDAY at the start of lunch in the ESL room for all international students attending next week's Tofino trip.  Please see Ms. Giese or Brenda if you are unable to attend.
