Recently, 6 Claremont students spent 4 days at Camp Pringle for the 2014 Youth for Change and Inclusion (YCI) Camp. There were around 100 other young people from a number of different schools who attended. The camp is organized by a combination of the Victoria Police Department and educators. Approximately 8 amazing speakers came and provided deep, insightful and powerful presentations on topics ranging from cyberbullying to homphobia to empathy. Everyone came back with new friends and emotionally moved. Hopefully more students will come and be a part of this incredible experience next year!
