The Outdoor Pursuits class completed the 75km long West Coast Trail from May 5-12. After 7 gruelling days through gale force winds, torrential rains, a hail storm and sunburns the class finished the trail at noon on Monday. They snacked on crabs at Tsusiat Narrows, ate burgers in a beach hut in the middle of Carmannah Beach, climbed ladder after ladder, crossed rivers in cable cars, languished on rocky sea shores, fended off killer otters and laughed around the campfire every night. Memories were made and lifetime friendships were formed. Forever will "ain't no mountain high enough" run through our brains when we recall our adventure.
