GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Claremont's Got Talent
Audtions for Claremont's Got Talent are TODAY at lunch in the choir room.  Please line up outside the choir room doors. Some auditions may have to be postponed until tomorrow as there are so many acts signed up for today.

Peer Tutoring
Just a reminder to drop into room 134 at lunch on TUESDAYS and WEDNESDAYS for Math and Science peer tutoring support.

Muscial Events
Claremont music students have 2 special events happening this week:  
Come to the Claremont Winter Concert on WEDNESDAY at 7pm in the Ridge Theatre.  Come and listen to some music, eat some baked goods, and enjoy the sounds of Christmas with special guests from the Greater Victoria Concert Band.  
Or come to the Claremont Winter Cafe on THURSDAY at 7pm in the Learning Commons.
Come sit and enjoy the choir, jazz band and other solo musicians perform in a relaxed cafe setting.

Locker Door Wrapping
The Key Club will be gift wrapping locker doors this week and next. Cost is $2 per locker. You can have your locker or your friend's locker gift wrapped! We'll be collecting locker numbers and cash at lunch outside the gym starting WEDNESDAY.  Proceeds will go towards World Vision.

Toys 4 Teens
Please bring in gift cards for the Toys 4 Teens drive. The last day to donate is Tuesday, Dec. 9. The Winning Block 3 class gets a prize and gets to go to Mayfair for the annual Toy Drive wrap-up event.

Photo Retakes
If you had photo retakes done, they are in the office for you to pick up.

CAREER CENTRE
Post Secondary & Unique Opportunities Information Night
Claremont is hosting a Post Secondary & Unique Opportunities Information Night on WEDNESDAY December 3rd from 7 - 9pm. There will be presentations from UVic, Camosun and VIU in the Learning Commons, as well as a mini fair in the student lounge with over 15 representatives from private colleges and other unique opportunities. This is an event you don't want to miss and is open to all students and parents!

Emily Carr's National Portfolio Day
If you are interested in art and design, the Emily Carr University is hosting their National Portfolio Day on SATURDAY December 6th in Vancouver.  No appointment necessary!  Check out their website for more details.
