Classes end one hour early today.  If you need to see the class schedule, it is posted outside of the office.

Crafty Knitters
There is a Crafty Knitters Club meeting TODAY at lunch in room 323.

Job Opportunity
Are you in Grade 11 or 12 and interested in working at a golf course as a Range Crewperson? This position includes range maintenance, tending to golf carts and involvement with events. Applicants should be mature and somewhat golf savey.  For more details, please see Mr. Arsenault in the Career Centre.

IGS "Do Good” Project - Bake Sale Today
A group of IGS 11 students are fundraising to give the gift of education to one lucky boy in this small island nation of Vanuatu. There will be a bake sale TODAY in the student lounge and all proceeds will go towards raising the $500.00 needed to pay his tuition.  If you would like to further contribute, please bring a loonie or twoonie down to Room 264 before school or at lunch TODAY or TOMORROW.

Book Drive
Claremont's book drive continues all THIS WEEK.  Donate any of your unwanted books to your 4th block class, up until Friday.  All donations go to a great cause. Let's give everyone a chance to read!

Food Services
Mrs. Parks' morning foods classes will be serving the following food menu TODAY at lunch:  ham & cheddar wraps, tortellini soup,  mac & cheese, chicken strips & fries, grilled cheese, cookies & muffins.  All freshly made today!!

House Day
As part of our House Day TODAY, come by the student lounge at lunch and check out the Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament.  Which House will dominate?

ATHLETICS
Basketball Spirit Game
The Athletic Leadership class is organizing a "Spirit Game" next week on TUESDAY January 27th in support of the senior boys and girls basketball teams.  The girls are playing Reynolds at 5:30pm and the boys are playing SMUS at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $2 and will be on sale at lunch in the lounge starting TODAY.  All money goes to KidSport. Come out and support your school teams by wearing red and cheering as loud as possible! There will be prizes and halftime competitions.  Go Spartans!
