If you were away today, we...
- shared rough drafts
- reviewed punctuating dialogue with a practice quiz
- fixed the formatting of dialogue in "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"
- reviewed how to upload your story to the class website and how to save as a PDF
- took notes on THE PARTS OF PLOT (see attachment)
Homework:
- Review for Monday's dialogue punctuation quiz (practice quiz available on line and look over the practice quizzes from class)
- Edit, revise, and type up your final draft of Walter's next day dream. Please upload to the class website by 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Be sure to work through the checklist online before uploading.
- PDF suggestions: If you do not have a word processor at home, you can use Google Docs for free. All you need is a gmail account. When you press print, it will save your file as a PDF (most likely to your downloads folder). If you have troubles uploading on the weekend, I can help you on Monday in class.
