Last week Youth for Change and Inclusion (YCI) brought BC Lions Travis Lulay and Rolly Lombada to Claremont. They spoke about the effect a bystander can have if they intervene when they see something unpleasant happening. These gentle giants emphasized that humour, distraction and honesty can all be used to stop situations from escalating. They not only spoke in the Theatre for a larger audience, but also met with students in a more intimate setting, mostly of Grade 10 students. Thank you to all those involved.
