On Friday, Claremont's Grade 9 Math Team of Jake Zhao, Elaine Hu, Hans Shi, and Jacqueline Sun competed against other teams from across the district in the Math Challengers Competition hosted by Camosun College. The Claremont Team finished in second place overall and Hans Shi placed first in the individual competition. The team will travel to SFU in April to compete in the Provincial Championships.
