Claremont and the Claremont Sports Institute Rowing program welcomes 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist Kevin Light as Coach and Manager.
Kevin Light was born in Vancouver and raised in Sidney B.C. Kevin began rowing at Stelly's in 1996, before moving to the Uvic rowing team in 1997 and then joined the National Team full time in 2000. Kevin has competed in two Olympics and nine World Championships winning Olympic gold in 2008 and World Championship gold in 2002, 2003 and 2007.
