The Institute for Global Solutions is excited to launch the 2012-2013 Speaker Series with two amazing presentations. On Thursday, September 13, acclaimed journalist, author, and speaker, Gwynne Dyer will be kicking off our series with a provocative discussion on the geopolitics of climate change. On September 27, award-winning author, historian, and Massey Lecturer Ronald Wright will examine humankind’s increasingly precarious “experiment” with civilization, based on his best-selling novel, A Short History of Progress. This work has recently been adapted into a film produced by Martin Scorsese entitled Surviving Progress.
