GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Cops 4 Cancer Fundraising
Our first House competition continues in Block 4 classes. Please donate $4 in support of Cops 4 Cancer. Fundraising will end on October 1, which is our first SPARTAN DAY!  Wear your House Colours, bracelets, and join in on the Spirit events.

Bake Sale – Cops 4 Cancer

There will be a bake sale TODAY at lunch in the student lounge, to help raise funds to support Cops 4 Cancer. All yummy items will be a minimum donation of $1.  Bring your sweet tooth and come show your support for a great cause.

Pursuit of Excellence All Grades Meeting
The first Pursuit of Excellence All Grades Meeting is on MONDAY, Sept. 28th at lunch in the Learning Commons.  It is a mandatory meeting for all PEP students.

Math Club Meeting
If you are interested in writing math contests, challenging yourself with mathematical problems, or are just interested in math, there will be a Math Club meeting on MONDAY, Sept 28th at lunch in Room 133.  See Mr. Paananen for more information.

Apprenticeship in the TRADES
Any students interested in an Apprenticeship in the TRADES, see Mr. Arsenault in the Career office as soon as possible!

Best Buddies
Peer Buddies only will meet TODAY at lunch in room 235.  Everyone welcome.   We will be discussing leadership roles.  Please be sure to attend.   See Mrs. Stetson in room 216 for more information.

BC Transit Youth Bus Passes
If you applied for a BC Transit Youth Bus Pass, they have arrived!  Please come to the office to pick them up.

Spring Break 2016 – London, England
There will be a student information session for a proposed Spring Break 2016 trip to London, England TODAY at lunch in the theatre.  Everyone welcome. There will also be a parent meeting at 5:30pm TONIGHT.  See Mr. Plant for more details.

Acadia University
Interested in attending university in Eastern Canada?  Come to the student lounge TODAY at lunch, to see an Acadia University enrolment advisor. There will be on-the-spot application forms available, and the application fee will be waived.

GRAD 2016
SAT's and ACT
Are you planning to write either the SAT or ACT this year as part of a university application? Not sure of the difference, or which one to write to get the best score for college admission? St. Michael's University is offering a Start-Up exam to show the difference between the two this SATURDAY, Sept. 26 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.  There is a $20 cost for the exam.  There is more info in the Career Centre.  Students can register for the exam online at: https://campscui.active.com/orgs/StMichaelsUniversitySchool#/selectSessions/945904
