LUNCH MEETINGS TODAY
Meeting for International Students
There will be a brief meeting for all International Students TODAY at lunch in room 310.  All international students should attend this brief but important meeting.

Best Buddies
Best Buddies has their regular meeting TODAY at lunch in room 234.  All are welcome.

University of Calgary Visit
Thinking of a change after grad? A representative from the University of Calgary will be visiting Claremont TODAY at lunch in the Student Lounge.  Come and see what the U of C has to offer you!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Found – Two Cell Phones
Two cell phones were brought to the office on Friday.  If you are missing your phone, please come to the office to claim it.

Free Hot Chocolate
Come by the lounge TODAY at lunch for FREE hot chocolate from the Key Club!  Please bring your own mug.

ROMS Halloween "Thank You" Lunch
Everyone who was involved with the Royal Oak Family Fright Night are invited to an appreciation Pizza Lunch this FRIDAY in the theatre.  In addition to the lunch, there will also be an event debrief.

Calzones – in the Cafeteria on Friday
This FRIDAY, you can get a delicious Calzone for $5 at the cafeteria.  These delicious pizza-like treats (calzones are a folded over pizza) will be in high demand and will come in Meat Lovers, Pepperoni, Cheese, Vegetarian and Hawaiian.

ChatterHigh
High schools and middle schools across Canada are invited to participate in the National Post Secondary & Career Exploration AAAA Competition.  $25,000 in grand prizes to be won! The Competition is running until midnight  Dec 4th.  Get onto your ChatterHigh and start quizzing!  Earn points for yourself and for Claremont! Cool stuff to win!  Don't rush the answers!...standings are based on average points per student. Good luck and Go Spartans!

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Results - Halloween 'Clue' Game
Thank you to the Learning Services ISTs for the "Halloween Clue” game last Friday.  It was.... Miss Scarlet in the study with a lead pipe!!  Hercules earned the highest number of House points for the greatest number of players. 

ATHLETICS
Volleyball Intramural
The sign-up sheet for the upcoming 4v4 coed Volleyball Intramural is on the main doors to the big gym. There is one spot left in both the junior and senior divisions. Games will begin later this week, so sign up your team no later than TODAY at lunch. Teams must be "coed", featuring at least one member of the opposite sex.

Basketball
Basketball team lists are going up!!  Boys will be posted TODAY.  A girls list will be put up either late TODAY or TUESDAY morning.  Practices for those on the list(s) this week are:
Jr boys - TODAY @ 7:00 pm and WEDNESDAY at 5:30 or 7:00 pm
Sr boys - TODAY at 7:00 pm, WEDNESDAY at 7:00 pm and FRIDAY after school
Girls - TUESDAY 6:30-8:00 pm and THURSDAY from 7-8:30 pm
Please check lists outside of PE office.  For those who's names are not on the list, there will be meetings on WEDNESDAY at lunch to determine numbers and/or interest for B teams at Jr girls and Jr boys.

Congratulations to our Athletic Teams
Congratulations to the Swim Team of Josh Phillips and Daniel Day for fantastic races this weekend at the Island Championships and qualifying for the Provincial Championships in Kamloops.  Please congratulate these two for carrying the team at Islands this year and for making it to Provincials.
Congrats to the members of the cross country team as they have all qualified for their upcoming BC Championships  
Senior boys soccer team has qualified for their Islands held Nov 9/10 in Nanaimo as well as the Colonist Cup play downs taking on GNS in a quarter final Nov 12
All 4 volleyball teams have placed high in league schedules and will all be starting their city championships at various times either this week or next.  Good luck to all.

CAREER CENTRE
Volunteer Opportunities
The Victoria Festival Of Trees benefits BC Children's Hospital - join the volunteer team and get involved this holiday season - Set up takes place Tuesday Nov. 17th from 6-9 pm, at the Bay Centre.

The Saanich Youth Council would like youths that are looking for a meaningful avenue to get involved with civic life in Saanich!

Habitat For Humanity needs ambassadors to welcome visitors to the Gingerbread Showcase Room, November 21st, 2015, and January 3, 2016 at the Inn at Laurel Point.

For all international students:  the day trip to Vancouver is November 19th.  Please pick up the field trip permission form from Brenda.  Permission forms are due this THURSDAY November 5th.
