Bake Sale on Tuesday
Mr. Belvedere's block 4 class is hosting a bake sale to help raise money for the Vancouver Island Cancer Research Centre. The bake sale will be on TUESDAY (tomorrow) at lunch by the lounge. Bring your sweet tooth and some change to support this great cause.
IPod Drive
Please don't forget to bring in any gently used IPods for Broadmead Lodge. Key Club students will be in the lounge at lunch all this week to collect them.

Intramural Volleyball
Intramural volleyball begins tomorrow (TUESDAY) at lunch in the big gym. All teams will be in action. The schedule will be posted today at lunch. Players must be in gym strip and ready to play no later than 12:00. Spectators welcome!

Congratulations to the Junior Girls Volleyball team as they placed 2nd to a very strong Belmont team this weekend in the city championships. They now join our other 3 teams (sr boys, sr girls and jr boys) who are all competing in their respective Island Championships this upcoming weekend.
Our Grade 9 Girls Volleyball team have their city championships this TODAY and TUESDAY. Good luck to all teams.
Congrats to our Boys Cross Country team for placing 7th at BC's last weekend.
The Senior Boys Soccer season came to an end this past week at the Island championships in Nanaimo, and they had a tough 1/4 final loss on Thursday in the Colonist cup playdowns.
Good luck to the Senior Lacrosse team as they head to Denver this weekend to participate in the Denver University recruiting tourney.

TEAC 105 - Explorations in Technology
Open to any students in grades 10, 11 and 12, this course will teach you to identify careers in the 4 technology fields (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Computer Science). The course runs on Fridays from 3-6 pm, starting Feb 26 - May 27, 2016, (no classes during Spring Break), at Camosun Interurban. **There are 18 seats available in a special focus group for GIRLS in Technologies. Students are responsible for a $39.41 application fee. Please visit the Career Centre for more information on this great course!
University of Waterloo – Grade 11 opportunity
Grade 11 students of exceptional potential are invited to apply for a unique trans-disciplinary program hosted by Waterloo Unlimited, March 14-18, 2016 (Spring Break ). From engineering and the environment, to science fiction and virtual reality, students will explore the theme of "Design" across disciplines. Attending lectures, seminars, and workshops on the University campus, they will join a community of like-minded high school peers from across Canada as they learn the Design Process and its application. OSEF- ASBL is now accepting applications for the 2016/2017 exchange year.
