Math Contest Sign-Up

Cops For Cancer
Thanks everyone for your support of Tour de Rock, Cops for Cancer. The school did a great job raising funds and showing community spirit.
Here is the final update on our Block 2 fund-raising contest: Congratulations to Mr. Ohl's SS9 class for winning this challenge by raising the most money to support Cops for Cancer. We will be serving root beer floats to Mr. Ohl's class on TUESDAY at lunch in the theatre!!!

Sr. Boys Volleyball Results
Congratulations to the Sr. Boys Volleyball team who went undefeated Wednesday night in league play. The Spartans defeated Spectrum 25-17, 25-08, St. Michaels 25-15, 25-9, and defeated last years Island Champions, Royal Bay 25-21, 25-18. Big blocks, good defense and tough serving was their recipe for success. The Sr. Boys will compete today and Saturday at the VIU Tournament in Nanaimo. GO SPARTANS!

Volunteer Opportunities – Halloween Fun
There are three Halloween fun events looking for student volunteers to help with set-up, running games distributing food, face-painting, haunted walk tours and more:
Lochside Elementary's Halloween Party is on Thursday, October 20th from 4-8 pm.
Royal Oak Middle School's Screamfest is happening Thursday and Friday, October 27-28, from 6-9 pm.
Cordova Bay Elementary School's Halloween Hoot and Howl fun night is on Friday, October 28th, from 6:00-9:00 pm.
