- Edit and then type up the final draft of your paragraph for the poem "Warren Pryor". Save as a PDF file and upload to the class website. Due Friday.
- Review for poetry unit test (will be on Tuesday)
- Finish colour poem similes
Colour Poem Instructions
- Write down the name of a colour. Be descriptive but do not use a food to describe it.
- Ex: flamingo pink, ocean storm blue, neon green, etc...
- Write three to five similes for each of the five senses
- sounds like...
- feels like...
- tastes like...
- looks like...
- smells like
- Use images that are connected to your initial description. Ex: Blood red sounds like the throbbing of a human heart. Flamingo pink looks like a pack of perfectly preened poodles.
