- Study for Poetry Unit Test - review terms and notes
- Edit and Type of a poem for submission. Glue your poem into your notebook. Underneath your poem, write down the page in your notebook where I can find your draft with edits. It will be marked based on the rubric given.
- Prepare your notebook for submission on Tuesday
Notes: The Stanza and its Different Forms
Stanza: refers to a section of poetry separated by line breaks. It is the equivalent of a paragraph in prose.
- 2 lined stanza = couplet
- 4 lined stanza = quatrain
- 6 lined stanza = sestet
- 8 lined stanza = octet or octave
